School Leadership and Administration

Rev. James Goggins,  Pastor I am Father James K. Goggins, a priest of the Archdiocese of Denver and the pastor of St. Bernadette Catholic Parish since June of 2006. I am a product of many years of Catholic education, with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, a Master of Arts in Communications and Management, and a Master of Arts in Systematic Theology. I believe that St. Bernadette Parish is a wonderful parish community with the great blessing of a Catholic school as a valued mission of the parish. Jesus is at the heart of all we do here at St. Bernadette parish and school. The children and teachers here give joy and hope to all who come in contact with them.

Deb Roberts,  Principal I am Deb Roberts, and I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Western State College in Gunnison, CO and a Master of Administration and Supervision from The University of Phoenix. I have worked in Catholic education for over twenty years. I taught in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and in Chicago, and for the past nineteen years, I have taught in the Archdiocese of Denver. In 1999, I began my journey into administration where I served as assistant principal at St. Thomas More Catholic School in Centennial, Colorado. In 2002, I was appointed principal of St. Pius X Parish School in Aurora, Colorado. In the 2006-07 school year, I joined St. Bernadette Catholic School as principal. I am a native to Colorado, born in Denver but raised in Grand Junction. I have been married for twenty-five years, and my husband and I have one son and twin daughters who keep us very busy. St. Bernadette Catholic School is a community filled with many wonderful traditions. The faculty is a dedicated group of professionals who spend countless hours planning and preparing lessons that make learning meaningful. The parent community is very dedicated to the school, and the students are what excites me about coming to work each day!
